Description: Stay fit by trying something new and exploring Indian culture! Bollywood and Bhangra are two styles of dance that are easy to learn. fun, vibrant, and a great low-intensity cardio workout. Both styles of dance can be modified to meet any fitness level. Bollywood is an exciting dance form that fuses regional dancing from accross India, and is mainly show-cased in Indian cinematography. Bhangra is a traditional form of dance mostly based on the traditional Punjabi drum, the "dhol". Watch the video links below to learn about Bollywood dance.

Attire: Comfortable indoor athletic attire and running shoes. Be prepared for fun accessories lent by instructor on the day of class!
Registration: You are required to provide a completed PAR-Q (physical activity readiness questionnaire) and signed Waiver & Release of Liability Form to the instuctor prior to participation of the first class attending. Download and print these forms here.
Cost: $50 for six classes or $10 drop-in fee. All payments are made directly to Roopa Segu.
